The Challenge

When this D2C home decor brand came to us, they had a beautiful product range but almost no digital presence. Their website was getting fewer than 800 organic visitors per month, their Google Ads were running with a 1.4x ROAS (barely covering ad spend), and they had no structured content strategy.

The brand was spending ₹8 lakh per month on ads with nothing to show for it. Their competitors — larger, more established brands — were dominating both organic search and paid placements for every relevant keyword.

Our Strategy

We approached this as a complete digital overhaul, not a patch job. The first two weeks were spent entirely on diagnosis before we touched a single ad or wrote a single piece of content.

Phase 1: Technical Foundation (Weeks 1–2)

100-Point Technical SEO Audit

Identified 47 critical issues including duplicate meta tags, missing schema markup, broken internal links, and a site architecture that made it impossible for Google to crawl product pages efficiently.

Page Speed Overhaul

Compressed all product images to WebP, implemented lazy loading, removed render-blocking scripts. Mobile PageSpeed went from 34 to 81 in 10 days.

Google Ads Account Rebuild

Paused all existing campaigns. Rebuilt from scratch with proper campaign structure: brand search, non-brand search, Shopping, and Display Remarketing as separate campaigns with individual budgets and bidding strategies.

Phase 2: Content & Link Authority (Weeks 3–8)

We identified 180 high-commercial-intent keywords across product categories, room types, and style terms. Built a content cluster strategy with 6 pillar pages and 24 supporting blog articles targeting buyers at every stage of the funnel.

  • Rewrote all 340 product descriptions with keyword-rich, conversion-focused copy
  • Created 6 comprehensive buying guides (2,500–4,000 words each)

Phase 3: Paid Media Scaling (Weeks 4–12)

Once the technical foundation was solid and organic traffic began moving, we scaled paid aggressively. The key insight was that Google Shopping was completely absent from their strategy — a massive missed opportunity for an e-commerce brand.

  • Rebuilt product feed with optimised titles, descriptions, and custom labels
  • Launched Performance Max campaigns with 5 distinct asset groups
  • Built Meta Ads retargeting sequences targeting product page visitors at 3, 7, and 14 day windows
